Director, 1AD, casting director Suzana Purković, born in Serbia, 7th February, 1986, began her career in film industry when her professor of Film directing asked her to join the movie she was working on. Suzana worked as an assistant director on various films where she learned it all - from researching to scriptwriting, ​casting, pre-production, production - filming and making it all possible, to the post-production - editing and sound design. In such an environment of dedicated professionals and with the possibility to practically go through the whole process, she built a base of essential and comprehensive knowledge of filmmaking. That's what makes her an expert in the field of directing today.

She dreamt of directing at very young age - since she was 12 years old when she was first engaged and introduced of the great possibility that movie images can give. Curious, creative individual which loves to work in a team, passionate and dedicated to personal and professional improvement and advancement, filmmaking and precisely directing was the only right answer to her professional needs and vision.

 In the year of 2008, when she was still at film studies, she was called to volunteer on a feature film "Ma nije on takav". While working in casting agency for international co-production she was called to work on that film as assistant to director and since then she has been constantly on the set. She worked on a several movies and tv series as 2nd assistant director, and soon after that, at the age of 26, she started working as 1st assistant director and director. Although she's been engaged into commercial television series and films, she is a great admirer of big authors' works like Federico Fellini, Milos Forman and Ingmar Bergman while she value and have most respect for the work of Christopher Nolan, Martin Scorsese, Wong kar Wai, Woody Allen, Roman Polanski and Quentin Tarantino.

Given the fact that she has been into film industry for 13 years now and has gained a lot of experience, approach and well-behaved ethics, now is the best time to dedicate her career on developing own projects, visions and ideas. Having acquired the best working abilities and skills she wants to focus solely on directing career and author's projects that will be a perfect mirror of many years of experience as well as the creativity and vision that she posses.
